What would people try to be benefitting themselves with that can harm others in the process? Greed? It's not exactly something that benefits a person for very long because life will eventually catch up with them. If I can avoid hurting someone, I would take it whether the choice would benefit me or not.

the correct answer is no but everyone has don't something at another expense at one time or another. The biggest harm that we do is gossip. Words maybe simple but they can cut like a knife.

This has been the "American Way"! Its called selfishness. I tell you the truth, America is full of self centeredness and selfishness. We really need to repent of such an untoward proclivity. I am confident that all have sinned in this particular area.

maybe depends on what I may owe those others and if they have a right not to be harmed. such as I vote for my best interests as a senior citizen. my brother has kids and grandkids. he says I am voting against their interests.
their interests do not outweigh my own . I have the right to vote for what is best for me
