In her song my love don't cost a thing...why is it-if her love doesn't cost a thing..that in the first two sentences she notices the guy's escalade (60 thousand dollar car and more) and his rolex watch?

i'm right there with you. i've never really cared for her but her songs make drive me crazy. i mean she's not just jenny from the block. she's jenny from beverly hills or where ever the hell she lives. not to mention, she's living in a mansion.

I believe that when she sings that there's hidden meaning...she doesn't want love to cost HER a thing! Not the other way around, it should cost him plenty!
