I mean you want to save all the animals right? Then what's the point of being a vegetarian or vegan if you are polluting their homes by using harmful chemicals, burning fuels, e.t.c? Seriously, I think it's hilarious! So ironic!
Ha! You not eating animals is a complete waste :D If you're not destroying them, you're destroying their home which is half as bad! LOL.

Well I am a vegetarian and you are making a good point about how everyone is still harming the environment but I still think that vegetarianism has a point because even though you are still hurting animals' homes, it is better to do that than go all the way and just eat meat. And I don't at all use harmful chemicals and burn fuels. And I am not trying to hurt your feelings but I think you are being disrespectful to other people's feelings who are vegetarian/ vegan on here because you shouldn't judge anyone on how they live their life; I don't think any less of people who eat meat and I don't ever criticize their way of life so why should you criticize mine? I think everyone has the right to choose how they live their life and they shouldn't be judged on it. I have never judged someone who eats meat and I don't like that you are judging me just because of what my diet consists of. And to some degree yea I probably am hurting animals' habitats but it is inevitable to not make an impact on their lives. The best thing to do is to lessen the negative impact as much as you can and that is what I am trying to do by being a vegetarian, and it is still better than going all the way and just eating them, so being a vegetarian/ vegan is definitely not pointless and I would appreciate it if you wouldn't judge other people's way of life. I am not trying to be rude right now and I am sorry if this hurts your feelings, but I am just answering your question.

Actually, I'm not only a vegetarian, but I'm also an activist for animal rights (saving habitats, no torture etc). And I am against the use of harmful chemicals and fossil fuels. And this computer may be using fossil fuels, but I have made significant cutbacks on my use of electronics recently.

But even if I was solely a vegetarian, living in a polluted habitat is better than living in a barn or cage jam-packed with a hundred other animals, living in your own sweat and feces day after day, getting your daily bland meals thrown at you, panicking and not having any idea what is going to happen next, getting literally pecked to death by other chickens...

The list goes on.

I don't think vegetarians or vegans would say that they have no impact on the planet -- but I can see that their lifestyles have less of an impact on the world than those that are carnivores. For example, more water is required to raise cattle than to grow vegetables and more rainforests are being leveled to provide pasture for cattle.

Of course, what's important is for folks to try to eat as much food that is produced locally, without pesticides and food that is produced in a fair manner -- and not choosing to buy chemical-laden food that has been trucked in from afar that has used up a lot of fuel and has been picked by poor, underpaid workers. Anyone who drinks coffee should try to buy fair-trade and shade-grown. This means fair prices for the farmers and bird habitats are maintained.

I guess its just the FACT that you're not eating animals. The point of being a vegetarian is to respect animals. & as long as YOU'RE not destroying their homes, it's all good. I would gladly be a vegetarian but I can't live without meat.

I know, I mean, animals eat other animals, so why can't we eat them? I don't see how vegetarians can live like that. I get all jittery and dizzy if I don't have meat for long periods at a time.

You're an idiot. Most vegans do their best to use only natural plant based cleaners and stay away from harmful chems as well as trying to conserve natural resources.

I am neither vegan or vegatarian, and you make people like me look bad.
