Usually brand but sme generic are basically the same just a more reasonable price. If you read the products in most of the medicines and hygiene products the generic is usually the same as name brand. Depending on how much you are willing to pay is usually the case in selection.

usually brand names are the ones people would go after. People trust them more than generic brands. Though, generic brands can be similar, but it's the brand name that people look for.

Most of my prescription medicine is generic. I will buy OTC generic brands as well sometimes. On personal hygiene products, it just depends on what it is and what the price difference is.
