Do the same thing and wait awhile..You can even do something that will get him goin..I know this sounds weird but this is what the ultrasound tech had me do when my son wouldnt move during an ultrasound. Get on your hands and knees and kinda move around some and then like roll from your side, to back, to side and do that a few times. Then lay still on your left side after doing all that and feel your belly, baby should move. If after about an hour he/she doesnt move then you should go in. Chances are the baby is just sleeping.

I was in and out of the hospital at least a dozen times before my last child was born. The nurses recognized me, and were happy to see me (the night nurses, usually). It is a little hard to feel the baby's movement, but it is important. Did dad listen for the baby's heartbeat? Maybe you need to get a stethoscope with a long tube, so that you can listen any time you want. They sell them at medical supply stores. Drinking a soda usually wakes a baby up.
DO NOT think twice about going back to the ER. You are paying the hospital a lot of money to deliver your child and keep you healthy until then. The people in the ER would rather be busy than standing around. They get happy when they have someone to work on, honest. If you can't find a heartbeat or get any movement, at least call the dr. on call.
We all want a successful delivery, and we'll do what we can to make sure that happens.

It's scary to feel so much responsibility for someone and I know exactly how you feel! I am sure that if this happened to you once before everything is fine. I would try to poke(gently) at the baby and that would sometimes make them start moving. Laying down also helps. When we walk it is soothing and rocks them to sleep. If none of these things help you to feel better then call your doctor. They have a job to do and that is taking care of you~ not only physically, but emotionally as well. Don't let them make you feel bad about seeing them too often, they make a hefty bit of money every time that they do! I wish you all the best!

Even although your child is relocating the fetus is to small. You will have to suppose motion someplace across the sixteenth week. The high-quality recommendation to supply from one pregnant girl to a different(30wks) Don't concentrate to the whole thing every body tells you or you'll be scared the entire time. If you're involved approximately whatever name your Dr the nurses will speak to you at the telephone in the event that they feel you have to be checked they are going to inform you. If it is after hours name the medical institution wherein you'll provide and the nurses will inform you when you have to be ckecked or now not. Congrats and Good Luck!

Try drinking a full glass of OJ and then laying down on the left side. The sugar in the OJ will stimulate movement. If you can't feel the baby call your OB and don't feel bad about it! They are supposed to help when you need it, and reassure you when you are concerned!

Well, try drinking some orange juice and sitting still for a while. If you still are worried go ahead and call your Dr. I was in L&D about 6 times (not kidding) with my last child before he was born. Yes you're being a bit neurotic, but you are growing a little human being inside of you - you get a pass.

keep open conversations with your OBGYN office about the movements and any concern you may have. Yes they may begin to think you are paranoid but your baby is worth all the trouble. The dr sent me to L&D to be monitored like once a week for an hour to check baby movements and contractions when i kept going into preterm labor. The nurses there just got use to me being there.

First pregnancy? everyone feels that way! I went through that with my first too. Just relax- everything should be fine. YOu can buy a heart monitor if you like, and then you can keep checking at home. But on the other hand, you could go to your GP - it is btter to be safe than sorry.

NO NO NO in no way if you feel like your baby is not moving or moving as much as should, then go up there. They would rather see you 10 million times then something bad happen to baby or you. Please do not play with yours and his/hers health. My doc's with last son told me to cut out my caff. and when I did baby quiet moving and doing pratice breathing. They had to wake him up with a buzzer like thing on the tummy and was not cool one bit!! Really scary!! Please if it does not work, go to hospital and get it checked into!! Good luck and bestest of wishes, not to mention CONGRATS!! on your soon to be bundle of joy!!
