I agree with everyone else that the Continental grip is the most versatile and most likely to hit any ball back...if you are rushed.
BUT, it is not the best grip to use for every shot. I'm only saying this because it sounds like you are looking for the quick way out of learning tennis correctly. If I'm wrong, I apologize, but I suggest you learn how to correctly hit a forehand and backhand with the correct grip.
A continental grip only gets you so far... you can not really handle fast paced balls, or balls with a lot of topspin. This is due to the continental grip does not allow you to counteract the spin by closing the angle of the racket face. You might end up hurting your wrist too.

The best kind of grip is the continental grip. All you do is you line up the bottom of the "V" in your hand. "in between your index finger and your thumb" Line that up with the racket going down. There is also the topspin grip but should be used by either intermediate to experienced players. To do this you hold the racket like a fly swatter. And this gives the effect of the ball jumping forward when it lands.
