The thyroid gland is part of the normal endocrine system... also saying, you should have one, it is normal anatomy. BUT, there are conditions with the thyroid gland that can affect pregnancy. Check out two conditions Hyper active thyroid hyperthyroidism, or Under active thyroid hypothyroidism. These conditions are relevant to the amount of thyroid hormone that your body produces, if your body is not producing the right amount this can either cause you to miscarry or not be able to get preg. to begin with. Of course, I am not a doctor, so if you are having trouble with pregnancy , contact your OBGYN and request a blood analyisis. TSH - The thyroid hormone can be evaluated by a simple blood draw. Hope that helps!!

I assume you're meaning a thyroid condition. Yes they can get pregnant even with a thyroid condition, 1/2 a thyroid or no thyroid at all.

If you have hypothyroid and isn't taking any medications to compensate with it, yes you can have huge difficulty getting pregnant. The thyroid is the second major gland, next to the pituitary gland. It makes all kinds of hormones, and if your hormones aren't in sync or lacking, then it affects how you learn, think, feel, varies your menstrual periods, screws up your sleeping schedules, messes up ovulation, and when you ARE pregnant and not taking medication, it can and does cause miscarriages and preterm labor.

I think you either had a spelling error, or you're very confused.
The thyroid is a gland in your neck. Pregnancy is making a baby. Not connected in any way.

Of course, the thyroid has nothing to do with the reproductive organs.

We all have a thyroid.........
Presumably you have either an overactive or underactive thyroid.
It is possible to get pregnant with either of these conditions, particularly in mild cases, although not likely.
Once they are treated, there is little interference with fertility
