The World Bank is an international organization in which 185 countries participate in helping the world be a better place. The Bank provides aid to poverty, provide efficient healthcare,help natural disaster victims, provide loans to developing and crumbling economies, and seeks to cure AIDS. The Bank was established on Dec. 27, 1945. Its first and largest donation was $250 million for France Reconstruction after WWII. The concept was originally from the UN Monetary & Financial Conference in July 1944.
