he might have his days and nights mixed up. meaning when you are active (during the day) it rocks him to sleep .. but when you are asleep (at night) he's wide awake and playing and you don't feel it because you are asleep.
If you feel him move at least once every couple hours or so .. he's fine.
Try drinking orange juice - or a cold glass of water - that should get him going!
(while laying on your back in a quiet room, wait for him to kick)
If you don't feel ANY movement, go to the ER, NOW!
good luck! God bless!

I may not be an expert on this, only have one child, but I think your baby is growing and has little room to move around. PLUS after kicking your insides for about 4 weeks I am pretty sure he or she is a little tired by now and he or she is going to be taking a nap or just resting. If you are so worried call your -OC doctor or go to wal-mart and get one of those baby monitor/heart beat monitor. That way you can hear him/her move around a bit more.

Just like us babies have up day when they are moving kicking and beating up your insides lol
and sometimes they have bad days they just wanna sleep all day .(wish I could) and because you constantly could be on the move you don't feel him as much. drink some cold water, and lay down for about 1 hour and count the kicks punches you feel, if you feel less then 4-5 call doctor or go to er.

Call you oncall doc, who will probably send you to the ER. They'll strap you to a machine (a belt goes around your belly) and they can record the movements. Most likely, your babe is just having a quiet day, but that could be a sign of serious problems, so do something about it now... don't wait until Fri.

Put a radio near your tummy, or slam a door and see if you feel anything. Have your partner put his ear down around your navel and see if he can pick up heartbeats. If you're still uncertain as to your baby's health, call the dr. That's what he's there for.

One baby is getting bigger and also all that growing is probably alittle tiring. Might not be that bad of an issue just keep track of movements, and if you notice anything different then what is going on, call doc and see what they say!! Good luck and bestest of wishes!!

sometimes the baby is getting to big to be moving around, but sometimes you need to lay on your leftside and count movements you should have at least 5-10 in an hour if not call dr.

I would go to the emergency room or call the ob/gyn floor at your hospital and ask the nurses there. Definitely do not wait until friday.
