What do you think about people who say they are " gifted" or highly intelligent ?

People who have the ability to mmm how shall i phrase this
"go down on themself" Had a mate at school who had this talent to bend this way, He discovered this in the bath, and his mom caught him..........

what about those who have the real ability to say the phrase
"I see dead people", Most of the real ones you will never see on TV, because they know just how dangerous it can be, And most of all they don't want the attention. because its scary enough coming across those that you can meet accidentally. I mean living people as well as Spirits , ghosts poltergeists whatever

what about those gifted people who can talk for hours about nothing, in more words than they need to use. That you forget the original question ------ Oh! yea they are already working as politicians.

Some gifts are fun, some are scary and some should be best avoided

The trouble with highly intelligent people, is that they often have brains the size of planets but absolutely no common sense and the survival instincts of a lemming. I know a few.
Fine if you want a supercomputer fixed or brain surgery. But drop some in the middle of nowhere. and forget it. or even ask some to do basic shopping, naah no chance of success

So useful as a phone a friend on millionaire, but maybe not a pub quiz team.. But as long as they are not too annoying, still could be a life friend., but then we all have annoying friends

I have heard that once. This person felt they were gifted because he had only caught a simple STD instead of AIDS. He also felt he was intelligent because he gave it to his new girlfriend and she didn't know at the time.
I think gifted and intelligent people whom brag are simpletons.

It depends. If they practically wear it like a badge every time they see you, then maybe they are full of themselves. However, some of them may be telling the truth. There are test done in schools to search for those who are gifted and talented. A teacher will elect students they feel may be gifted in certain subjects and then have them test. I took one before. It was really weird.

They are stuck up! Its fine to say u r smart but past that u seem kinda up ur-self. Its fine to say im in GATE (gifted and talented education) cus thats a fact. But any kind of boasting or bragging about ur intelligence or really anything else is rude

If they have to say it, then they aren't. Gifted & highly intelligent people of the real sort just go around being who they are and don't have to advertise....it just shines out regardless.

that they don't have much friends. it's the same as a guy bragging about how big his penis is or a girls saying she has the biggest boobs. people don't like to be aroung braggarts. and other people are supposed to be the one who broadcasts their accomplishments and not themselves. also each and everyone of us is gifted in some way, even down to whoever can spit the farthest.

I just laugh to myself and say 'sureee' then they end up saying something stupid like "what year did the class of 07 graduate?" They may be book smart, but I'll be damned if they have common sense. Or vice versa.
