Okay Smarty Pants, Write a report on our country's deficit. And point out some theoretical solutions that you could/would do if you had the power to do so. The report has to be optimized and feasible without increasing the current situation but, decreasing the cost of living, health insurances, social security, tax breaks and who is entitled. Medicaid, etc... Research is not an option, it's imperative. Your research study and what you can do to change it depends on the outcome of your studies.

1)What you did this summer (boring, huh?)
2)The things you like and dislike about the internet.(I bet you have some opinions about that.)

lucky u! i have school on Thursday. Research a topic which you are interested in then write a report on it and include graphs, charts, quotes, or proven information to support your report.

Something that's controversial & interests you. See if you can get it published as a guest editorial in your town or city's newspaper!
Abortion, death penalty, Iraq, next President, school discipline, school uniforms, high school exit exams, the draft, legalizing marijuana, spaying & neutering pets, changing the speed limit back to 55 to use less gas, nuclear weapons, pornography, violence on TV, sex on TV, change the legal age to drink.

Write about your favorite tv show, actor/ess, athlete, band or your dog. MOst importantly write about something you like to do, it will be more enjoyable to write.
