My mother has they coins I believe they are Chinese. I would love to know about them if anyone can identify them. Thanks ahead of time!

They are Chinese all right but the problem maybe are they not real. For the last few years thousands of fakes have entered the country. They look to good to be the real thing. I will need scans of each coin, both obverse and reverse, not as a group, but one coin at a time, and at as high of a resolution as you can give me. It will take me sometime to look at them and also to check what they should weigh. Email me here and I will give you an email address to send the scans and I will get back to you. It will take a few days to check things out.

Your best bet would be to take your coins to a local coin dealer. They will be able to tell you so much more by evaluation the condition of the coin. They will also know the amount minted and what it is going for in today's market.

i attempted as difficult as i would to uncover them on-line however all i observed is that they would both be chinese language cash with mao zedong on it or any other asian cash i might take it to a coin keep or a few location to determine it for definite sorry if i did not support
