The tours at Disney World do cost extra. They have a lot of great choices though and I have always found them to be well worth the money.

If you plan to do a lot of tours and/or recreation you may want to look into the premium or platinum plans that Disney offers. They cost more than the standard dining plan, but you get more food, plus a lot of extras. If you do a lot of extra things, it will usually end up saving you a lot of money.

I will include a link with info on the tours as well as costs.

I just got back from orlando with my family. We had an amazing time:) First off most hotels in orlando have shuttle buses that come free with the hotel, and they will take you to and from disney, universal, and sea world. You just need to check with the explorations person when you check in, each hotel has a counter just for explorations to parks and sights, and to answer questions, get you tickets, and arrange transportation. Seriously in orlando tourism is there life and they deal with these issues daily. They are a huge help! The next thing is I would not spend a whole day at epcot yuck, it is kind of boring. The girls will get bored here very quickly, I would instead plan on spending a whole day at hollywood studios and combining epcot and wild animal kingdom. These both only have a few must see attractions. The park hopper ticket will not get you into the parade sorry! Are you going to check out universal? I highly recommend it! Islands of adventure is awesome, we liked it way better than disney! ALL and ALL it was the best vacation we have ever had and I loved it and can't wait to go back. Have a blast! AND remember nothing is written in stone, so if we have to skip something it is ok! And a piece of advice while park hopping, make sure you ask the attendant before you leave if the next park you plan on visiting is full to capacity. They close down the park gates and don't let you enter if the park is full, so before you leave make sure you can get into your next destination.... OR you may not get back into any park, and that's a bummer! Make sure you do the mickeys movie in 4-d while your there it is great!

Theme Park tours cost extra, however if you would like to tour the Resorts that is free. Although with both types of tours you will be assigned an escort.
Downtown Disney does not have a tour because it is mostly open air space with shops.
Pleasure Island if you get there early before it opens officially you can walk around and check out the attractions.

Many of the official tours are extra and can range in price from around $14 per person to $200. There are even tours that are exclusive to large groups.

For those tours, you can often get discounts with AAA membership or a Disney Visa or Annual Pass.

There are free tours on site however. Animal Kingdom Lodge offers daily lobby art tours. Wilderness Lodge also has a tour of its own.

Back to the paid tours, the pricing on allearsnet is incorrect for at least some of them. For current available tour information and pricing, it's best to refer to the Disney website:

Epcot: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/parks/parkListing?id=EPToursListingPage

(MGM doesn't have any tours exclusive to it but is visited as part of the Yuletide Fantasy and Backstage Magic tours)

Personally, I've done the Backstage Magic, Keys to the Kingdom, Yuletide Fantasy, Mickey's Magical Milestones, Behind The Seeds, Backstage Safari, The Magic Behind Our Steamtrains and Wild By Design Tours.
