I never did. The shouting of 'conspiracy theory' is similar to crying 'racist' - they just want to shut you up.
I thought some of the pet food ingredients came from China, but menu foods is the manufacturer in Canada?

Considering the main stream media and our elected officials never talked about it for the past 15 years it must have been a secret. Then again, we really don't have any good investigative journalists on mainstream media anymore. Only 6 years ago Bush laughed at the public calling them conspiracy theorists regarding the issue. Then only 3 years ago Bush, the Mexican President and officials from Canada were reported as having talks. It will be on the news everyday once it is a done deal. Lou Dobbs is an introduction to get people used to the idea. It is easy to make the average US citizen consider something "old news" and then suddenly accept anything because they already heard something about it.

Before 1924 people from Canada, and Mexico came and went as they pleased. Transpracy in terms of trade agreements that is good thing and needed. Still, you have people that are anti-market, anti-freedom that want people to only buy or use limited set of goods and services. Canada food standards higher than the Untied States actually, and require more stringent labels of Chemicals, and additives nothing wrong with that if it improves safety. Economically, we put up traffs, limit immigration we will have great depression because producers will have production bottlenecks, and America cant produce anything and everything at competitive costs. In fact, American labor productity is lower now than in 1960s because started doing instructure, education investment on the cheap. China is something we should not fear because China provides Americans DVD players for thirty dollars, and computers for less than 400 dollars. Free Trade=freedom. Extermists on the left, and right respresent tryanny.

I know that there is a lot of truth to this because I've been doing quite a bit of research. It all ties in to globalization and plans that have been laid out for our future.
As a proponent of the free enterprise system and what it is 'supposed' to represent, this is of great concern to me. The major corporations have a stronghold on us. It's now been proposed that the country of origin for food stuffs, no longer be made public.
Scary stuff!
