I take one or more showers per day, I always wash my hands numerous times after touching stuff, I clean and dust my room every single day, I keep a clean towel on my pillowcase which I sleep on and change that every other day, I also do other stuff to avoid germs and I ALWAYS think about them! Am I a germophobe or just a clean person? Can you relate to this heh??

You could be ; but I like keeping clean to,except I don't do it as much as you.

Just cause you you enjoy cleaning doesn't mean your a germophobe ; you just like keeping clean which is a good thing

and if you are a germophobe it doesn't really matter

This is a little extreme.

Sounds like you are on the way to obsessive/compulsive disorder.

If these behaviours don't interfere with your lifestyle, then no harm is being done

Kep in mind that avoidance of germs to this degree will actually weaken your natural immunities, so if something slips through, you may end up worse off than the average person.

Well, you're borderline if not completely compulsive. It's the constant thinking about germs that seems most disturbing; the other measures you take are okay.

One strategy for dealing with such a phobia is to study a bit of microbiology and physiology. Learn just what those 'germs' actually are, and how they spread, and how your body deals with them. We have extremely formidable defenses, both built into our bodies and in medicine, and you should know what these can do and cannot do.

U might be a little obsessive. Showering too much can dry out your skin and hair. At least this way maybe u won't get the flu and cold germs that spread so easily.

To find out if you're obsessive,
do not do any of your normal
clean activities for 3 days.
If you can't hold out for 3 days,
or if it drives you nuts to delay
the cleaning--you're obsessing.
But that's not all bad. If you
stop dwelling on it--or if you
are too busy doing other things, you will probably slow
down the bahavior.
Think of it this way--Your house is sure a lot cleaner than anyone elses.

You may be OCD. The difference between habits and OCD is if your habits interfere with your life and you cant choose to stop them.
