Wii Or PS3?

Question

should i get the wii or the ps3. i haved played both before and they both handle well but im mostly conserned about the games.

Wii - i like mario and zelda games. im looking forward for smash bros brawl. but i have no gamecube games.cheap

PS3 - great graphics and cant wait for metal gear solid 4 an metal gear online (ive been a mgs fan since its release in usa and enjoy that seris of games more than anything else ive ever played)i own a psp, which can connect with the ps3 , i also own exactly 40 ps2 games. the major downfall is its just to EXPENSIVE

so what do u guys think i should do. (plz tell me which one and y i should get it)

I would say ps3 they are gonna be coming out with a lot of games for the ps3 I have seen like 50 or more to be released very soon and plus you get 5 blu-ray movies free when you purchase it. I have one and I love it....It has a lot of cool games out for it. I can't wait for the new GTA game to come out so I can get it for the ps3...The ps3 is gonna be coming out with a lot more games then the wii.....Also It plays ps2 and ps1 games and since you got those 40 ps2 games if you buy the ps3 you would be able to play your ps2 games on it. I would perfer it over the wii....Because I heard people complaining about the wii controllers breaking the cord coming out of it by you jerking on it when you are playing the games I would defintely pick the ps3 it has awesome graphics the games look so real on it.....and they have tons of games coming out for it. I would choose the ps3:)

Get a PS3. You have PS2 games, so at least you will be able to play those on your PS3. The PS3 will have way better games, but many of the good ones haven't even came out yet, but 2 big Sony games are coming out in September though(Lair and Heavenly Sword).

If you want to play Metal Gear Solid 4, then you need a PS3. I'm a Metal Gear Solid fan also and already have a PS3 and I think that you will enjoy the PS3 better than a Wii. Most of the Wii's games probably wouldn't even interest you if you like Metal Gear Solid games.

I really don't think that it's worth $249 dollars to buy a Wii just to only play Mario and Zelda games though. If you can purchase a Wii, then obviously you could save up $250 more dollars to buy a 60GB PS3.

Wii, Cause Its Real Cheap And Real Fun And Has Good Games And Cause Ur Not Just Sitting On The Couch Playing Viedo Games, Ur Up And Movin.And I Wouldnt Get The PS3 Cause Its Alot Of Money Although It Does Play Blu-Ray... Wii by far... The PS3 is just another graphic's system... where as the wii is motion sensitive... i personaly have a wii and i absoutly love it. the 1st game i got (it came w/ it) was wii sports and for a week when i had nothing to do it was all i did... and the Wii has internet access as in like the i phone. you can not download anyhting like java, active x, or anyother program like that, but u can still check ur e mail, check ur myspace, and other things. then theres the weather channle. you can get the weather for most major cities all around the world from washington dc tokyo japan to singapore. not to mention the buisness channle. it all kicks butt and i absoultly love it. Get the wii...

Brawl is going to be epic.

Since you only want the PS3 for just ONE series of games...I'd go for the Wii.

Err...the Wii DOES have sensors and controls. And the PS3 is no investment it Sony is lowering the price already.

You should wait to see how blue-ray actually does. you knopw if it succeeds. but i like the Wii, Brawl will in fact be epic and an unstoppable force for the Wii. Not to mention its just getting started. but the ps3 is not worth it, not right nw anyways.

I've had a wii exactly a week after it came out. I think you should get one because they are resonably priced, the whole family enjoys it, and it's very interactive. It could be considered an excersise! Hope this helps!

a wii because it so cool you can also play gamecube games on it. ps3 has been having some trouble. my older brother had to send his ps3 back for not loading games and not storing memory on any cards.
