while your at it, what is the speed of sound in mph and kph?

First two are right, but I think you are asking about the earth's declination WRT the ecliptic. It's polar axis is tilted 23.5 degrees from perpendicular to the plane of ecliptic.

Supastremph, I didn't thumbs down ya. Only reason I didn't delete my answer after seeing yours was because of the half degree. But as true as the top two answers are, neither answered the question the person is probably asking.

Declination is a measure of the apparent position of objects in the celestial sphere. Earth does not possess the attribute of declination.

For lots of information including pictures and diagrams, try an internet search on "celestial sphere," or "right ascension and declination."

23 degrees-- if what you're talking about is the angle of the earth's axis to the ecliptic (plane of revolution around the sun).
