I think it's acceptable to have like 1 or 2 logo tees in your wardrobe and get away with it without being called a walking billboard. But if you have tons of logo tees you're a walking billboard. I dont care where they are from, it still makes you a billboard. I personally dont like logo tees and i dont own any. I just dont think it's real fashion to have a brand scrawled across your chest.

I think it's true. By walking around wearing A&F and HCO T-shirts, people are advertising the brand. Over half of the kids at my school shop there, and over time as people shop there, other people shop there too, because they'd think it's cool to shop there. In my opinion, wearing those clothes just makes you look like everyone else.

I have to agree. Someone who wears clothes with logos on them is basically just giving that company free advertising. What other purpose does it serve for A&F or whoever to have their huge logo across the chest of a shirt? In case the person wearing it forgets where they got it? No, it's advertising.

Same thing with lots of designer handbags that in my opinion, people just get because they're covered with the designer's brand name and want people to see them with it. But really they're basically advertising for that designer/company.

i wear abercrombie and hollister and my closet is prolly 1/5 of abercrombie and hollister clothes but i still agree that yea, they are walking billboards, ive seen shirts from hollister and the only think on them is the name hollister, i mean for hollister theyr making lots of money off these people and then more people go and buy shirt that say hollister b/c they think it sends a message of wealth and w/e, and i mean, i have a shirt that says hollister and thats it, but its one of the most comfy shirts ever and its basically the same for abercrombie, their logo is on everything and pretty visible if you know what i mean, but its not only for A&F and HCO that their customers are walking billboards, its basically every store that uses a logo and prints them on most or all of their clothes and i mean, kudos to them, its a rly good marketing strategy for the audience they are targeting their clothes towards

Its free advertisement, especially when the name or logo is on the shirt big enough for a person walking by to notice.

Yes, thats why i don't wear logo tees only the other kind of hollister/ a&f clothes. because when you walk around with "hollister" written across your chest.. then your just walking around averdtising there brand name!

They are. why else plaster the name across the clothing. I really hate clothes like that. I mean, you don't see high end brands like Marc Jacobs, etc. putting their name on every clothing item.
