Sure. I own several. But what you must understand if you are considering trying to publish one is that 4 color printing is very expensive. It costs a lot to put out books like that. So publishers are very careful about what they choose. Also, you have to be very concerned with rights to the photos. Are there people in them? Do you have a release from them? Are there licensed products or product names in them? These are all issues you would have to go over with a literary attorney before a decision could be made as to whether or not the photos could be used. Pax - C

Bought a "picture book" of India once. It was not *all* pictures - each picture had an explanatory paragraph. Pictures were all of great (monumental) structures that have been destroyed. Very interesting - but I *did* wish that it had more historic detail.

I've seen books like that. Nice coffee table books, and some are "pre-reader" children's books.

yes, I love those books, and you can make up your own story and it will go any way you want it to!
