lets say an employee at a retail store, or the teachers at school. the security guards, can anyone do that if your on their property or before you enter or exit someplace?

SEcurity guards of any kind can. They cant go over and beyond with it but yes. There is a fine line with anyone that not actually an police officer! Nobody in a store can they can try to hold you until a office or guard comes. Teachers definatly cant, they must have a guard do it! Only place I know that is allowed to do it to everyone entering well I shold say boarding is the airport!!!!

No they cant, if you dont resist ur stupid, they think you are so thats why they try it. Try patting down a cop and see what happens.

No, that is unlawful arrest unless you are trying to get into a concert or something like that.
