What can we do to keep them away from a fruit stand?

Maybe in a carrot field or celery field....Lol See bugs bunny!!!

NO CARROTS AND CELERY ARE NOT GROWN LIKE A CORN FIELDS...& what do carrots and celery have to do with a fruit stand

SNAKES ARE FOUND IN GRASSY AREAS, NOT JUST WANDERING THE STREETS TO THE NEAREST FRUIT STAND!!!

Snakes are typically not your problem and probably help keep your produce stand free from pest; hence; killing the rats and small rodents that are found around produce. Snakes are not evil creatures and have a silent beauty. They typically never strike unless provoked out of defense.
You should be more worried about the flies and bugs than an harmless garden variety snake. They do just fine if let alone.;(

look online and see if there are snake traps that dont hurt them

They are looking for the rodents who are in the food. Keep a dog or cat nearby? :)
