I'm wanting to do a money transfer to another country (Nepal)...Last time I sent money through Western Union it cost me $29 in fees so I'm thinking about using Money Gram...

It depends on where you send it and the amount.

It very much depends on what you're buying and where the payments are going to! If you use an International Money Transfer, it may cost you a bit more (in terms of fees) but at least you will have a fallback should anything happen. MoneyGram and Western Union are quick and easy to use, but sadly they are also used by "scammers" to get you to pay for stuff they have no intention of sending! This is NOT A SLUR on on MoneyGram or Western Union, but the scammers know that once they've picked up the money they can disappear without a trace; the companies have no way of tracking them down and therefore no way of reuniting you with your funds.
