I live in a 2 story 2700 sq ft house with a lot of plants around the house. Since last month, a LOT of house flies have been showing up. Even after killing them they just keep coming. The doors to my house have always been closed and I don't have any dead flesh sitting around in trash cans or anything. I know they have to be multiplying somewhere but I don't know where! Can maggots live in plants? Can they eat their own dead flies? What should I Do!?

Flies don't just spontaniously appear; I'm guessing there is a dead animal somewhere; maybe in a crawl space, inside a wall, in the attic, etc. You won't always smell it, but the flies will sure find it! Everytime I have had this happen, I have found something dead (like a rat, squirrel, possum, etc). The flies will keep laying eggs on it untill there isn't enough of it left to support maggot life!

yes. maggots can feed off of its own but there has to be a whole lot of them for the maggots to feed. now, check your air vents & chimney flu. maybe a dead bird or animal there that is rotting & flies have found it, etc. this happened to my neighbor. he turned on the burner, roasted the carcass & problem solved. no more flies. if this is the case, think of putting up a screen to prevent it from happening again. you might want to check around your living quarters. are you attached or does your house stand apart? two story home? maybe within another area of your house? anyway, good luck. you might want to check with a reliable exterminator.

tell them that that's disgusting that there are flies contained in the residing house and that that's a well-being undertaking. they are in a position to get into your nutrition, lay eggs on your nutrition, maggots on your nutrition, get on your mouth. Gross them out. Duct tape each and all of the cracks and get fly paper. placed the fly paper whilst it catches each and all of the flies in front of them. they'd desire to understand how gross and risky having them in there is.
