I have a really flashy babydoll top and a bright orange pattern racerback. One girl wore the same shirt as me (on the second day of school!) What can I do to stand out.

Yes I know it was stupid to buy clothes at a department store and get upset when other people have them.

But i know this GREAT!! place, where they have very fashionable clothes, and they also sell leggings and baby doll dress. the leggings range from about $12 to $15. and the baby dolls range from $5-$13. I know very cheap. and thats not all, theres also like a lot of tiny stores that sell those jewerly that are now in, you know those nice long dangly jewerly. they cost $1,(including earrings as well), or 2.99. The place is in Los Angelos, San Pedro. If you want any more information feel free to email me or for directions.

Buy anything you might come across that's cute. You dont' have to follow trends to be fashionable. Thrift stores, brand stores, department stores, anything that you might find cute, get! And if you have the same thing as someone else? Wear it anyway. Chances are THEY will quit wearing it, and you won't have to put away a perfectly good shirt!

Save up your money and don't buy clothes at stores other people always shop at. Go to a store where you know most girls would never think of going into. You might find something exclusive and really cute.

Unless you buy the "original" you could see your same outfit from any store. To make the outfit yours, accessorize with shoes, large belt, jewelry, scarfs, jackets, etc.

And the next time you run into a peer with the same outfit, say "wow, you have great taste" and don't be embarassed.

Well you can definately dress it up with some bulky jewlry or big silver hoops because it makes you stand out and it makes baby doll tops look greak as long as there are no chokers.

try buying something plain and/or inexpensive. Then add your own style to it by cutting the sleeves, adding a pocket or buttons, sewing a cute pattern on, etc.

You should modify the shirts up a bit. One example would be cutting it up or adding little things like ribbons and stuff to it.
