Today at school I was talking to my best friend I've known for like ever. So now she has a boyfriend and he smokes. Then she told me that she smokes. When she told me that I just died inside because I thought she would never smoke. But she said her and her boyfriend have to quit. The only people that know is me and her. I don't want to tell my parents or hers or else she'll be so mad at me and I don't wanna lose my best friend. When I hear stuff like this I won't get over it for a really long time. So what should I do!? Please help me!!!

You could do that, like not telling their parents, but you got to be her mentor then..
The only way that you can do is, just to encourage her that she can quit..

I always confuse with the smokers.. what are the advantages of smoking? it just damage their body... not just their body but also others surround..

if you think you can't handle your friend, then you should tell her parents to talk gently with their daughter..

well, that's my suggestion..
remember, I don't want you to smoke (you have right to choose)

Talk to her. Tell her you don't like to see her smoking and it hurts you. Encourage her to stop before she has some serious consequences done to her body, even if that means seeking help. Tell her she needs to tell her parents or a counselor if she's already very addicted to it. It won't be easy and yes, her parents may be a little disappointed or mad-depending on the morals she was raised with, but I think it is far better to let your family in on stuff like this instead of trying to keep it a secret. They eventually find out somehow anyway, so it's best to let them in now. Encourage your friend to do what she knows is the right choice deep down in heart. Supporting her to do the right thing is all you can do. There's no need in telling her family b/c I think that is something she needs to do-not you.

Good luck!

Your best friend must be older than you. You can't get her give up smoking. Smoking is your dislike. So now either sustain it if you don't want to lose her or join her in that.
You being from a noble family, I feel so strongly, you will never start smoking so better hope for the better and leave that girl for good.

Just be a really good friend to her and encourage her not to smoke. Ask her politely never to smoke around you.

well, if they say they're gonna quit, they could pull thru, only its really hard. i would see if they do quit, because if they try, maybe they will do it. but if they still smoke, tell some1. would u rather her be mad at u or get really sick?
