I have only seen thrush in younger kids, so I'm not sure how or if it affects adults, but when my daughter had it, it was white bumpe on her toung, more on the tip, and on her toes and finger tips, there were also white bumps. All of them sort of looked like small blisters. I think thrush, just has to run its course.

You should read the paperwork that your doctor gave you for the yeast infection. Sometimes oral meds. can cause other strange things, and what you are dealing with could result from your meds.

Thrush is very painful and serious. Thrush does present with a white lesion, but a white coating probably is not thrush. If it were thrush, it could spread down your throat and be a terrible problem. It would be unlikely for a normal adult without AIDS, HIV, or some major problem of the immune system to get it. You probably have an overgrowth of bacteria if you do not have pain of the mouth. Bad breath is probably the worst symptom. Eat some yogurt every day for a week, and use a good mouthwash 3 times a day and see what happens.

The pink bumps are normal, we all have them. The white coating is also normal as long as it brushes off. If it is Thrush it will get worse & you will know. My mother had it when she was in the nursing home, hers got really bad and it looked like she had cottage cheese in her mouth. They were treating it with Diflucan(the same medication for a vaginal yeast infection)
If you are still concerned call your doctors nurse & tell her your concerns. Since you are already treating a vaginal yeast infection they would probably call a prescription in to your pharmacy.
Good Luck!!!

Thrush could be gotten smaller on any area of the physique it is often darkish and moist. it is yeast, merely like the stuff that makes bread upward thrust. Yeast is a fungus, and it is totally irritating to the human pores and skin. woman yeast infections is often seen thrush, so earlier you stick that itchy willy everywhere, think of lower back!! sometimes, thrush can merely clean up on it is own, yet do no longer SCRATCH! Sheesh. Scratching spreads the spores of the fungus and whammo! Now it is everywhere. save the section DRY and funky and disclose it to the air. OR, in case you do no longer desire to stroll around city bare (!!!!!), get some gentle antifungal like GyneLotrimin or Monistat. take care of it with a skinny layer of the cream for 7-10 days on a daily basis (do no longer end or the fungus could exchange into proof against it), regardless of if the an infection seems to clean. if it persists, see a doctor. This condition is hardship-loose and that they are going to comprehend. merely save you claws outta your crotch. NO SCRATCHING!!

doesn't sound like thrush. thrush leaves your tongue coated thickly, and it doesn't come off even with a tongue scraper, also your gums and tissues would be bright red and painful.
More likely is a vitamin B deficiency. Which by the way can make you prone to yeast infections too.

The yeast infection is the same infection that is in your mouth. It is the same kind of bacteria. U need an oral antifungal prescription medication for this. Call your doctor to make sure.
