The hardest choice I had to make was when I decided to keep my baby or give it up for adoption. I was 20, unmarried and broke when I got PG. My parents begged me at 1st to think of my future and give it up. The father was a loser from day 1. I thought for months and about all the tough roads I would be taking. I am going to be 28 and my daughter will be 7. I kept her cause I knew although it would be hard and I would be missing on sooo many things that young adults experience. I know that keeping her helped me be the adult, educated and independent woman that I am today. I will be married to a wonderful man next fall and my life now is better then I would have ever thought it could be.

Keeping the baby, and looking after him well as he grew up. He is now a well adjusted, loving, tall handsome young man. He's a plumber, and has become engaged to a lovely girl. All the years of grinding poverty and missed opportunities were worth it to give him the best start I could. I seem to have been fighting all my life. Fighting for a place to live, fighting for money to pay the rent and council tax, fighting in court to keep the house because they ****** up my benefits, trying to find work that paid enough to keep the childminder in holidays, and food on the table. After six years alone, I thought I found the right man, only to have him leave me too, five months pregnant, and I cried for three months because I thought I couldn't face doing it all over again. But I did. And now I have two strapping sons, and both are a joy to my heart. Now that my youngest is old enough to look after himself after school, I can finally resume my studies, and perhaps get a degree. Whatever stage in life you are at, there will always be challenges. It's what makes life interesting.

Please don't try to annoy people by you upper & lower case letters if you want a serious answer to your question. .........Tink, please e-mail me. I was in my last year of school, using birth control, when I became pregnant. It was a difficult choice for me, but she is almost 29 now.
