My baby is 2 1/2 weeks old I had started breastfeeding but just a couple of days ago I started him on formula but I feel like if I dont have any milk anymore. If I were to latch him onto me would I be able to still breastfeed again???I REALLY HOPE SO!

Yes if you get the baby to latch on it will rebuild your supply. If the baby won't go back to breastfeeding then you should pump your milk and the baby may be more willing to latch if there is ample milk.

Most likely yes.
Latch him on and see what happens. You probably have some milk still, but not as much.
You will need to pump after he eats to get your body to make more milk. The more you feed him, the more milk you will make.
Go to kellymom.com to find lots of information on breastfeeding an how to increase your supply.

Good Luck, breastmilk really is the best thing you can feed your baby.

Yes. You can stimulate production again. He'll need a bottle in the mean time, but pop him on all day. Let him just hang out on your boobs for a few days. Milk is produced based on need. So long as he's stiumlating a need, your body will produce.

Drink water, lay around and let him just suck away. You can and should use a breast pump inbetween. Something should be on your boob for 20 minutes every 2 hours. It'll take a bit, but your body will snap right back.

Even dry women can stimulate milk production, adoptive mothers do it quite often. In their cases it takes a long long time, but you can bet it works :)

The female body is AMAZING.

It's all "supply and demand"! Go ahead and pump even if he is taking a bottle to supplement. This will keep your milk supply going and growing. As long as you are producing milk, baby will nurse!

Good Luck!
