my girlfriend went away for 4 months she is back on the 29 of july nand we have being having unproteted sex .on the 14 of augist she got the morning after pill and 2 days later she started bleeding very heavy it is 3 days now and still bleeding she had her period on the 7 of augist. we went to the doctor on the 20 of augest and he said it could be a misscaraige she told the doctors she only had sex when she came back with me i love her so much but my head is wrecked is it possible that all this could happen in 3 weeks please help

Did your girlfriend ever take a pregnancy test? Did you read the morning after pill insert or ask the pharmacist...because the morning after pill causes bleeding, often for several days. So, the question is...is she bleeding from the MAP or did the doctor run a pregnancy test, the test came back positive, and the doctor said she miscarried?

The morning after pill only works up to 72 hrs after sex. Therefore, If she took it on the 14th of August, it would not have affected a baby conceived before she got back together with you. The morning after pill has alot of hormones in it, which can really effect her body. Do not worry, unless she is soaking through a pad within an hour, she is ok. If she soaks more than a pad in a hour, she needs to go to the emergency room.

Yes, epsecially if she took the morning after pill. The first few weeks of pregnancy things are hit or miss, throw something in the mix, like plan B pills and it will cause an abortion.
She very well was probably telling the truth.
I happened to get pregnant while ON my period. but the dates you gave are right in the ball park for a normal ovulation. It most likely was yours.

Why would she take the morning after pill two weeks after unprotected sex? That's a little too late. It sounds like she cheated.

it all depends on her period on the 7th. was it suppose to be her period? was it light? one day? more like spotting? was it early? because that could have been implantation bleeding. so, she could have gotten pg on july 29th. then her real period would have been due around the 11-14 of aug. and that could have been a m/c.

the morning after pill could make her have these symtoms...this is very common. I wouldn't jump to conclusions about her cheating....i doubt that she was pregnant

yes of course it can happen all women's body act differently with change think bout it if she had had sex when she was away why would she of getten her period on 7th August i say if she did have a miscarriage it was urs if she loves u and u love her be happy and stop thinking silly thoughts thats wat will ruin ur relationship

Ask her. She could have had a miscarriage with you but that's not so sure either. Only thing to do now is ask her.
