I live in New York City and I've been hearing rumors that the NHL is opening a shop in Manhattan. I look for information on it but find nothing. Does anyone know if this store is really there and when it is going to open?

ya, i went to NYC this summer and it wasn't opened yet. It sucked cuz i really had my hopes up, and they were in the middle of construction. I believe they said either this Christmas or next summer it would be opened, cant remember. O, god, the address was like 39th and Ave. of the Americas or something. It was near the Bank of America building.

There IS another New York hockey team (Islanders), who have team stores in Roosevelt and Sunrise malls on Long Island. In the city, your best bet to find non Rangers/Islanders/Devils merchandise is the NHL store at Avenue of the Americas and 47th Street. It features merchandise for all 30 teams, so if you wanted a Sabres Miller jersey, that would be your best bet. The link is below..
