ok, so i literally got the game like a week ago and i am stuck at the airship (you know when you're prisoner)! I've done all the hunts and fought like everything i came across and still like a level 40. i always die by the time i get into the area right before brig no. 1, but I have my characters as up to date as i can get them cuz they have all changed their initial equipping for a whole lot of a better weapon!! I think i did something wrong, but i don't know what! help please!

Wow, you are level 40 at the Dreadnought Levithan and having trouble? I was only about level 12 or 13 in this area. Maybe you need to fix your gambits so you are healing when you need to. I'll give you an idea how to get your first two started, and you'll figure out other combos for gambits as you play.
First slot: Ally:Any / Phoenix Down (or Raise)
Second slot: Ally HP < 40% Cura (or best Cure spell you have available)
This should help you survive, and there are lots of combinations of gambits to try. I hope this helps, you are really over-leveled, so you shouldn't be having any problems this early in the game.

youre not doing anything wrong, you should probably use steal a lot to get potions from guards and use them to heal your party, but if youre a level 40 on the dreadnaught leviathan you really shouldnt have a problem, also try using the arcane magick "dark"
