tough call, but i would guess no.
for each of the examples above me about how guys have been given a second chance, there is one thing missing:
gambling.
if vick hadn't been involved in any gambling aspect of the dog fighting thing, odds are he would be allowed back after a one, two or five year suspension.
but gambling?
don't bet on vick ever coming back because of that...

Barry Word of the Kansas City Chiefs should also be on the "bad boy turned good" list.
Whether Michael Vick comes back to play football is totally up to Michael Vick. Hey the fans came back after the second strike.
We are a nation who is bent on winning the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, World Series ... oh there's a clincher ... Barry Bonds the new home run king ... did he or didn't he knowlingly use steroids?
Michael Vick could get as few as 10 months in jail or up to five years, but I see something more in the middle around two to three years and working at a real kennel, not a vicious dog breading kennel.

I'm sorry, but I don't care.
Do you think that 3 months from now there will be 1000 questions a day about Michael Vick. If you do, will you kill me now?
He'll be banned for life because of the gambling. However, he'll be able to apply for reinstatement and will probably be allowed back in the NFL at some point.
He'll be booed for life and protested at every event he's at. Who would want him...even if he were a good QB which he's not.
What I'm afraid of is that some PETA fanatic will kill him and then people will feel sorry for him.
He doesn't deserve pity, another chance, or any of his attention. I'm totally sick of Vick.

he should but you dont think so
Consider just some of the cases that escaped the former commissioner's wrath. In the 1990s, Christian Peter, then an All-Big Eight defensive tackle, was arrested eight times at Nebraska, where he was twice accused of rape — charges resulting in one out-of-court settlement and another conviction for sexual assault. Though the Patriots relinquished their draft rights to Peter, he would eventually play for three NFL teams.
Then there was Peter's Nebraska teammate, Lawrence Phillips, who pleaded to a brutal domestic abuse case before St. Louis took him with the sixth pick in 1996. Phillips would be arrested three times over the next 19 months. Later, the Dolphins would release him after he was accused of hitting a woman in a bar. Of course, that incident proved an insufficient deterrent for the 49ers who also gave him a shot.
Next, Rams defensive end Leonard Little. In 1998, while driving drunk, he ran a red light and killed Susan Gutweiler, a 47-year-old wife and mother. As per Little's plea deal, he got 90 nights in a work release program and 1,000 hours of community service. In 2004, Little beat another drunk driving case. Last year, he signed a new contract with St. Louis.
Jamal Lewis, a convicted drug trafficker, was suspended for all of two games.
Finally, there's Ray Lewis, who pleaded to obstruction of justice in a double-murder case. Today, he's more of a hero than ever.
So, given this history, how does Goodell grade out Vick's transgressions? Are they more egregious than Little's or Phillips' or Peter's? He didn't rape or kill a human being. He'll do considerably more time than all the aforementioned transgressors. He's already lost all his endorsements, and stands to lose a good portion of his record-breaking signing bonus. Still, people who think nothing of cheering for a Leonard Little sack want to put Vick away for life.

Yes he will play again in the NFL, the reason is because this country likes to give superstars second and third chances.
The question is will he be as good as he was when he left the game.

No, because of the public outrage. Vick has likened himself to Scott Peterson for being cruel.
