Multi-national corporations have no interest in doing the right thing, and they are not loyal to any nation. They are the ones bribing the government to keep the borders open, and the illegals coming in. They are the ones who want to drive wages down for the American working class. They are the ones who have the real power in this country, and they are the ones who really set policy. Their goal is globalism, and global corporatist government.

"Fascism should rightly be called Corporatism
as it is a merge of state and corporate power." - Benito Mussolini (Dictator of Italy)

"Trunkster" it is simple. Illegal immigration drives down wages for middle class and poor americans, and the politicians are bribed to keep them coming in illegally. They don't care about what is good for us. We will become a third world nation soon, due to outsourcing and immigration being the way it is. They do control many elements of the job market. Consider doctors, for example. The government has strict laws about how many people can go to school to become doctors in the US. There aren't any doctors sneaking in across the border. This keeps doctors highly paid, and costing too much for us to pay without health insurance. In England, there is no shortage of doctors, because they allow doctors to immigrate into the country, and they have no limits on medical school admission. Therefore, the cost of seeing a doctor is low, which is one major reason that their socialized medicine system works.

Also, you asked who the multinational corporations would sell to if we are making less...they have a global market to push their product on. Are you a conservative? You should konw this and share my view. I don't hate coprorations because they make money or because they hire people....It is a matter of power, and an economic issue. Globalism is the main problem here, not corporations. Isolationism would be best for us. I am not willing to become a third world nation so the rest of the world can catch up to us. Those are the same ideas that are seen in socialism.

For the most part what you say is true but some points I disagree with.

If I hear one more pseudo intellectual misuse the term fascism or its application as in this case, I am going to puke. Mussolini's statement is not an indictment of corporations, but rather of governments who control all aspects of business, IE prices, practices, trade policies, etc.

BTW-Multi-national corporations- SO WHAT!!!

You're lack of understanding of even basic economics is apparent when you say corporation want to drive down wages for the American working class. If we are not making money to buy their products, they can not survive. Why do you think we are "exporting" jobs to extremely poor countries like Pakistan and India - so they will have the money to buy our goods. The same principle works here.

FYI- The government or corporations do not control your wages you do (unless - which i suppose i must assume), you are a minimum wage dolt. Get educated and show your worth at work and you will be rewarded. PS - showing up on time doesn't count for sh*t.

I work for a corporation. It may not be the best job in the world, but its better than working for any ma and pop shop.Small business owners are the cheapest sons of B**che's known to man,and they tend to fire people when ever the hell they feel like it.I have health insurance where I work at,I get paid time and a half for overtime and get paid holidays off.And I'm just a painter.Tell me about any ma and pop shop that have those kind of benefit's.This ain't coming from an office worker,I bust my a** on an assembly line.

Do you get it now.

A Corporation is the ultimate extension of Democracy. It only survives because a multitude participate in it's care and feeding (e.g. purchase of stocks and bonds). If it does not take care of those people it will die.

So don't call a corporation "Bad" call the people who own stock or bonds in it bad.

Wait you don't have a 401k or IRA do you..

Which multinationals are those ??

Give us names ?

Most illegals work for small business.

Not huge multinationals.

Why would they want to drive down american wages ?

With less wages paid in America, that means Americans will be buying less of their products, which means they will make less profit.

I assume that the economicly proven to fail doctrine of socialism is your preference?

Cuba has socialism ... the people are poor.
North Korea has socialism ... the people are poor.
Zimbabwe is building socialism ... the people are poor.

do you get it now?
