My car has a wimpy horn. I want something LOUD that will get people's attention when needed. I've found some online that look easy to install, but I wonder if that would void my car warranty (it's only about 4 months old, bought new)? Anyone know?

It shouldn't but if something electrical happens to the car, then can always blame it on any accessories you put on the car after you bought it.

A lot of it depends on the dealership and how good a customer you are. If there is a problem with the electrics concerning the horn circuit, then I would say they would void the warranty. But if it is something unrelated, then the warranty would still apply. good luck.

possibly. if anything caused by the install is to blame then that part of the warranty is void....meaning if you put a big screw in to hold the horn and it rubs a hole in a wiring harness then NO WARRANTY on that repair. same situation and the seatbelt quits working then its not related and it IS WARRANTY. u modify XXX system and you void the warranty on that system. nothing i know of short of a rebuilt title or total loss insurance claim can void the entire warranty.
