its very wild and i make the adventure original and crazy, i dont describe much cause i hate describing and i think its too filler but i do describe whats needed. if i were to offer it to a publisher would it even be looked at due to the shortness? either way i have already finished half of a sequel. The book title is: That Time Again. its about a planet of immortal people and I am the main character who is king of it. We are the only planet still remaining in the universe as we destroyed all the planets. One day we go on a space trip due to some dreams my wife has been having. I also swear alot in it and I've been told that only adds to the comedic value. Btw I am only 18
thanks for any help :)

I think it's too short to be published as a book. Sounds more like a novella. You could try to self-publish it. Or, if you want it to have a chance at becoming a best-seller, why don't you try writing a follow-up novella and publishing them both in one book?

Good luck, though!!

who thinks it's great? friends who don't want to be hurtful? you need to get advice from an editor before you get too excited. i don't mean to shoot your happiness, but it sounds like a very lame book and if you don't describe things, then how do you understand what is going on around the characters? read some books by great authors like stephen king. the description puts you right in the characters mind.

So what if you're 18!A story is a story, but this one@that word count, would be considered a short story. No problem there, the short story market is alive&well&looking for new authors.try The Best Of The Magazine Markets &see what I mean.get it from the library&if they don't have it,task them to order it for you

A good route for self publishing would be booksurge.com (a subsidiary of amazon.com.) They have Printing-On-Demand. If you want to go a reputable, yet more low key route you should check out glimmertrain.com. It's a literatary magazine.

It's a novella - and a very short one considering it is unedited. Pax - C

If it's good, length shouldn't matter.
