I actuality, neither male nor females have horns. Horns are keratinous growths while the "horns" of a rhino are made of densely packed hair. Both males and females have these growths.

I am not sure where you heard that but no, males females and even young are born with horns.

The only differences in horns with rhinos is some species have two, others only have one.

For example black rhinos have two, indians have one.
