I haired a moving company based in FL. To move the furnings from my 3 bedroom house in MD to a storage facility in NY. They will not return phone calls or emails and It is a month now and I have not recieved my things . I am trying to be calm. What action should I take to egt my belongins delivered?

File a police report. As it stands, your possessions have been stolen. (And if they haven't, a police report will certainly get their attention.)

Look at the contract that you signed when they picked up the furniture? What is the penalty clause? Call the Better business bureau in the Florida city where they are located and complain. Send them the e-mails and the complaints and see if they can go visit and make a difference they love to try to mediate this kind of thing!

Wow was this a legal company?
You should always do you homework about these types of companies.
Do you have a contract or some documintation you could show the district attorney office?
Contact the police dept and report is stolden!

Call ICC (federal Interstate Commerce Commission)
Start buying new things

your state Attorney General's office.

Look them up on the web. Don't worry about which one, after you get to a live person, they'll tell you which state to complain to.
