I'm relocating from Florida to Minnesota, and I'm wondering if I should take my cars with me or buy new ones over there because of the winter season, are all cars made the same?

For the most part, a new car you buy in Florida will be the same as one purchased in Minnesota. There may be some locally available options installed on one car that is not on the other one, but except for certain trim packages, the factory doesn't make special models for different parts of the country.

The car will be the same there. For the winter months you may want to get an engine block heater. They will sell them everywhere up there. Mud and snow tires before the winter season might be something to consider also.

Yes, they all come down the same production line. So it doesn't matter what state you are in. The only difference is the state of California, and those cars must meet their pollution requirements. However, they still go down the same line when they are built.

good luck.
