YES! YES! I had both up until about 2 years ago and the 8 track player DIED> sad.....

Cassette player gets my vote. I never owned any 8-track stuff.

8 track; the cassette player seems more portable but is suited for only 1 person
though conversely I would pick the IPod over both of them
