Why? I think I am more of a dog person; they are loving and unlike cats they actually care when you get back from school/work/etc.

I'm a cat person, although I love both cats and dogs. My cats are all affectionate and love to cuddle with me. They are playful and loving- but not as needy as a dog. I like animals that are a little more independent.

I used to be a total cat person.. you know, I had the calendars, mugs, a family cat. But then.. something made me want a dog. To this day, I don't know what sparked the idea. I researched and researched and got my puppy Tucker. He's the best thing that has ever happened to me. He came into my life a time when I was very alone and sad, and is the best friend and companion I have ever had. I love him, and I love all dogs! I love dogs because they are playful, come in all different sizes, are all incredibly unique in their personality, and have unlimited amounts of love and fun and affection to give.

i'm now the two a cat and a canines individual. merely observed a youthful, 6.5 month previous puppy. His ancestry is unknown. He seems similar to a small lab blend with a splash of Aussie farm animals canines and probably beagle. He already is conscious and respects cats. he's darkish, darkish brown with some gray ticking on his feet. i've got lived with cats all my existence and my husband has lived with the two and we finally fenced in our backyard and little Kiko has 3/4 acres to run and play in! i've got have been given a satisfied little puppy and 3 bewildered yet frequently accepting cats.

This is true. I grew up with cats only and had lots of cats and kittens. Then one day i saw a Pug in a movie and I fell in love. I had to have a Pug too. She has been my best friend and is the funniest dog in the world. She is loyal and always loving. I love cats but I have never had a cat be so devoted and interested in me.

Dog person. Dogs have sooo much more personality then cats. They also love to play and learn tricks. And like you said they care about you and love you back.

I'm both. Actually I'm a total animal lover. All animals are precious to me. If I absolutely had to pick between a cat or a dog, I'd take the one that was homeless.

ahhhhhh, but you are so wrong there ! Dogs and cats alike are very loving, I have the two most awesome cats to walk this earth, they greet me when I get to work, they very much miss me when I come back from the weekend....and they talk to me, what the hell they are saying I dunno...but they are communicating nonetheless.

ohh, and the fact that they are not as needy as a dog, makes me love them even more :)

YES !!!
I am a Cat/Dog person.
I have 3 cats and 3 dogs.
And I love them all for different reasons.
Because they all have different personalities.

I love dogs because they welcome you with open arms (paws). They want your attention all the time.
They love to be with you, good companionship.
But
Dogs are a pain because you can't go anywhere for any length of time without having to worry about who's going to let them out.
They want your attention all the time - sometimes I don't want to give it.
They love to chew, when you're not home.

I love Cats because they love to cuddle. They're happy when you come home. They are so easy to take care of. You can leave for a weekend, and they would be fine home all by themselves.
They DON'T want your attention all the time.
But
They shed alot, and if they don't then you have to deal with the "presents" they leave you when you come home.....furr-balls.
They only want to see you, when "they" want to see you.
They like to scratch the furniture.

But to be honest with you, I love all animals.
That's why I'm called the "animal lady". No, not for my behavior, just for my passion for animals ;)
