I'm pretty sure Benoit had the upper hand before Wrestlemania XX, when he won the title. Other than that, I don't know.

That is EXACTLY what I asked earlier, man. I was wondering if Orton is going to win the title, or if the WWE purposely leaked that information out to boost up PPV buys. I mean they did that with HHH and Mysterio, saying that they'd be back by now, but decided to postpone their returns until SS. And someone answered my question saying that John Cena's "movie" is actuall just a spot in HHH's movie, and that Cena already filmed his part.

WWE has a pretty consisten formula that the person who jobs before the ppv wins at the ppv.
Plus about Cena's supposed movie that he is losing the title to film. Does anybody find it ironic that nobody knows anything about this movie? I sure as hell do

sadly, no.
There have been times were someone got the upper hand and won the match at the PPV, but never in main event matches. (for example, Kurt Angle vs John Cena in 2003, Angle got the upper hand in two straight weeks and won at the PPV, but it wasn't for anything)
I guess Orton will be winning the next night on RAW.
