im having a 2nd section in march and i wanted to know if i would be able to get my tubes tied and what is the procedure and is it more painful afterwards?

if that is what you want to do i would totally do it and make sure you do it when you have the baby. I would do anything to avoid another procedure!

yes you can get them tied. Not sure where your from but the doctors where i am from dont tie them anymore they put a clamp on your tubes. very easy procedure, they went it done it and i went home. leaves you a little sore but not so much you cant handle it. Mine went so smooth, And i had 2 c sections before the procedure, good luck

Its easier while they have you open to do it then rather than later. The pain isn't any different than the C-section pain from what I remember. Your age will be a determining factor....most Doctors won't tie the tubes of a women in her early 20's.

I believe they can do it right after a section since you're already opened up.

Discuss this with your doctor - some require you to be a certain age to get it done.

I had mine done the day after I gave birth vaginally. I didn't have any pains other then the gas that traveled through my body - but that was painful enough.

tubal ligation...

Usually it is done just after a delivery and done laproscopicly.

A section of each fallopian tube is removed.
