Does anyone know if it is okay to get a brazilian wax done when pregnant? I won't know if I am for another week or so but I have an appointment on Sept.21 for a brazilian wax.

Getting waxed isn't going to harm your baby. It is nothing internal and there isn't any chemicals that you could inhale that would harm your baby. Plus, I would definitely say to do it if it makes you feel better about yourself.

Hi, Well there is nothing wrong with getting waxed during pregnancy usually however if you are conserned, call your doctor. That is what they are there for. And dont worry, they get called all the time for everything. My advice to you would be to see how you deal with something a bit less sensative being waxes, eyebrows, legs, etc. During pregnancy your body has more blood, more blood circulating means that things are more sensative. Your skin may react differently and it could just be down right painful... If the pain facter doesnt bother you, and as long as you are going to a clean, trustworthy place I say do whatever it takes to make you feel good. Pregnancy is tough, and we all need to do the little things that make us all feel prettier. Good Luck!

I have not heard anything about waxing being bad while pregnant and can't see how it could be. I know a woman who was almost ready to pop and she went and got one, so she would be hair free for delivery. : )
You should keep your appointment. good luck!
