i want to book a hotel for a short holiday in europe
but i watn to rather reserve online and pay with card on arrival rather than give my bank details online
i have tried booking a few but they are al asking for details upfront for obvious reasons
any ideas?

Select a hotel or resort on-line, take the details of the trip you want and use the telephone to make contact.
You can quote your credit card number, but unless you do not show up it will not be used.
The other way to do it is using a travel agent, you will still have to pay before traveling, but you will not need to send your details over the WWW.
