What's the next number and the method that the sequence is using?

T[n] = n^2
The next number is 5^2 = 25

1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100.......

Just look at the pattern.
First you add 3, then 5, then 7,
For the next term just add 9 to 16. Eh, I think that's an arithmetic sequence but don't quote me, i did those a long time ago and never memorized the names.

This is an old SAT question. The next number is 25. This is a sequence of squares or a number times itself.

1square=1, 2squared=4, 3x3=9. 4x4=16 and...5x5=25. etc. etc.
