Another c section would be the best way to go for you, cause if you tried to have the baby natural, you would cause your lower tummy to open back up. Ask your doctor about it and he will tell you the same, has a matter of fact ask any doctor. There is alot that can go wrong, when your wound is still "fresh" and "new". To much pushing can open your lower stomach back up. Just ask the doc, on this serious question. And by the way, the other answer someone said, that c section was pain free.. get a life its not pain free, had one myself and would much rather push one out.

From what I have always heard, doctors are not likely to do a V-bac if it has been less than two years from the first birth. But I guess there are exceptions to that if your doc has not mentioned you can't give birth naturally. I always heard that it is much more likely to disrupt your c-section scarring if you have only had so long to recover from the first. Around here that is the rule. But it is really none of your mother's business! It is your body. She doesn't even get an opinion on this. It doesnt matter what she wants and you have every right to tell her so. It is not bad that you are having another c-section, as it might be medically best. Who can argue with that?! I know the biggest risk is that your first scar tissue has not become set yet and you could easily abrupt the scar if you deliver naturally. There are few risks of having another, besides the normal stuff. Repeat c-sections are not usually an issue with a second child. It sounds like it might be time to stand up to mom and tell her to butt out. Do what feels best for you and what the doctor says would be safest. That is always your best bet :)

You pay the dr. If he's on your payroll, he has to do what you say. If he won't, he gets fired. You have to insist, maybe even take your husband with you.
I don't know about your reasons, but I let the dr. talk me out of a 2nd c-section and went through 20 hours of hell, 2 hours of pushing just to find out (surprise!) my second baby had a head about the size of my first, and neither fit through my hips!
I ended up with a c-section. So this time I had all the hurts (except an episiotomy) of having a baby both ways at the same time, and my baby looked like he went 10 rounds with George Foreman (poor thing). And I had to have general anesthesia because my epidural wasn't working well and there wasn't time to install a new one. So I missed the baby's birth.
For now, the dr. works for me. You give me information and I decide what's right for me. I know more about most of my conditions and symptoms than most drs. I've tried all the meds, and I know what works and what doesn't. And I'm the one who sets the game plan.
Insist, be the boss.

It all depends on your health. Cause you having you babies so close together, you may not be able to have it cause the scar would still be fresh even though you had it done in Feb. I would suggest speaking to your doctor and asking options. Also make sure you are aware of the advantages and disadvantages of each.
I am having my 2nd c-section in 3 weeks time but i had my first one 2.5 years ago so its a while ago.
All the best.

Go Natural... unless there is an actual medical reason keeping you from trying. There is nothing like the empowerment of giving birth naturally. I do mean without the use of medication as an intervention. I had my first in a Hospital setting and had an absolute horrible outcome. No need to get in depth. With my second, I went to a Birthing Center, and gave birth in the water, without drugs. Wonderful for myself and newborn. Please consider, there really is no need to go to such extremes as drugs, episiotomy and / or cesarean section unless the Mother or child's life is in danger. Try to consider the past..., how women were designed,.. and how we have done this act of labor and childbirth long before Doctor's and intervention. You just might gain something more than a pain free experience. Best of luck to you and yours!~

c-section would be safest infact ... since you've just had a c-section your body in not completly healed form the last one!!! if you tried a VBAC that is vaginal birth after a c-section your chances of rupturing your uturus and having to have it removed or cause Major complications goes up...but the choice is your ... learn as much as you can befreo you make your choice...

you can have 4 c section with pregnancy! after that it becames to hard to make the skin go back together and if you have more then four its like cutting throw leather. MY sister had four and they told her no more becuase of that reason!!! also if its your first birth they might try and make you give birth normally, c-section is a easy way out and is the for women that have trouble!

yes you would be able to. A lot of times doctors suggest scheduling another c-section during your pregnancy but you can try to delivery vaginally. Either way...its up to you

I believe that most would rather have you do a repeat c-section. Having a v-bac can be kind of dangerous cause your scars can rip during delivery.
