I'm the president of my high school club and want to use icebreakers to help everyone get to know each other better this year. However, a lot of our members are like, "What? Icebreakers? How totally lame. They're so corny and boring." etc.
So I'd like to hear some unique ideas that you may have--not the typical ones, like Telephone, Scavenger Bingo, the Knot (although that is an awesome game, but our members are kinda touchy about touching), and the like. So what ideas do you have? Short ones that take up no more than 5-10 minutes is preferable, but go ahead and suggest any length type if you want.

Well this may be kind of lame but... you could try doing the candy thing. Where you get a huge bowl of candy and have everyone sit in a circle and take as much candy as they want, then after everyone has taken there candy, they have to tell everyone about themselves depending on how much candy they took. So if someone took 20 pieces then they'd have to say 20 things and so on. But that way there's no touching.

screaming toes.

everyone gets in a circle and looks at their toes. then they look at someone else's toes and then at the same time everyone looks up at the person's face. any one who is making eye contact with someone else , the two people scream and they are out. you keep doing it until onlyy one or 2 people are left. those are the winners/winner
