this is easy:
try changing your view from the ÷ sign to /
6(a)
------ = 2a
3
dividing 6 by 3 you get

2a = 2a... so they are equal

Usually we write division like this: a/3

So, you have
6 * a/3 = 2*a
(6/3)*a = 2*a
(2)*a = 2*a
2*a = 2*a
