I can detect a presence wherever I go but I get chills down my spine and I cannot tell if I am around good spirits or bad spirits. I often talk to spirits but no harm done throughout the 12 years I talked to them. Can anyone tell me what can I do to detect the good from the bad? Is it worth it to find out or just continue doing what I always was doing, chatting with them. The only thing is when I chat with them, they do not say much, they just call my name and ask me who am I am if I live nearby.
Can anybody help?

If it is making you feel bad, depressed, oppressed or not leaving when you ask then it may be a bad spirit.
If a spirit does not make you feel any more than a little nervous or spooky, does not harm & especially if they leave you alone when you ask they are OK.
Just remember that this is your space and time - feel blessed to be able to communicate but remember to tell them when you have had enough and what the limits are, such as not in this room, or please leave now I want to rest.
Also when you feel the spirit around, fill your self with white light - think positive thoughts and try to project a good feeling, this will help protect you from bad spirits.

Their energy and your own inner instincts will determine their intentions. If you have not developed your gifts to know the difference, why are you being so open to them? You may need a one on one conversation with someone that knows what they're talking about when it comes to this question because there are alot of other important factors to discuss aswell.

Honestly I think that after all this time if something was truly malevolant you would know it. 'Bad' spirits don't usually walk around looking for people to irritate - in general they are grounded.

I DONT see ghosts or detect them, never been able to do that and never will be able to bt if ghosts were once people and behave like people thn they mst think like people

Easy, they wear a white hat. You can tell the negative vibes from the positive vibes if you are sensitive to them.

If they haven't attempted harm or made you full of fear, I'd say they're good. They say you can sense evil so when you meet one that makes you want to run or hide, don't speak to it.

The bad one is the one that is still a jerk like they were in life, and acts like it.
