Not a "princess" per se, but Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.....which is one of my favorite animated Disney features. Quite underrated.

Ariel from The Little Mermaid. What a great story. It isn't like any other Disney movie. She loves her life in the ocean but yearns for love on land.

My favorite Disney princesses is Pocahontas,and mulan because they are fighters and know how to defend themselves, instead of letting the prince do all the work.
